Getting Started

❓ How much does it cost to launch a token?

Novault charges only the network gas fees for deployment. No platform fees, no hidden charges. Gas costs vary by network but typically range from $50-$500 on Ethereum mainnet depending on network congestion.

❓ What wallets do you support?

We support all major Ethereum wallets including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor.

❓ Can I launch on testnets?

Yes! We support Sepolia and Goerli testnets. Use testnet to validate your token setup before mainnet launch.

❓ What's the minimum liquidity I need to launch?

There's no minimum requirement. However, we recommend at least 1-5 ETH + significant token amount for sustainable liquidity pools.

Token Parameters

❓ Can I change the token name/symbol after launch?

No. Token name and symbol are immutable once deployed. Choose wisely before launching.

❓ What's the maximum token supply?

You can set any supply up to 2^256 - 1 tokens. Most tokens use supplies between 1M and 1B.

❓ What are decimals and why 18?

Decimals define how divisible your token is. 18 decimals = 1 token = 10^18 units. 18 is standard (like Ether) but you can use any value 0-77.

❓ Can I mint more tokens after launch?

That depends on your smart contract. By default, our contracts have fixed supply. If you want minting, you'll need custom contract development.

Liquidity & Trading

❓ What happens to my liquidity after I lock it?

Locked liquidity is held in a time-locked smart contract. You cannot withdraw it until the lock period expires, ensuring community trust.

❓ How is the initial token price calculated?

Price = ETH Amount / Token Amount. E.g., if you add 10 ETH and 500M tokens, the initial price is 0.00000002 ETH per token.

❓ Can I remove liquidity before the lock expires?

No. Locked liquidity cannot be withdrawn until the lock expires. This is enforced by smart contracts.

❓ What exchanges support Novault tokens?

Novault tokens are ERC-20 compliant, so they work on any DEX that supports ERC-20 (Uniswap, SushiSwap, PancakeSwap, etc.).

Rewards & Earnings

❓ How do rewards work?

You set a fee percentage (e.g., 1%). For every 100 transactions, 1 goes to your reward address. Rewards accumulate and you can claim them anytime.

❓ What's the maximum reward fee?

We recommend keeping fees under 5% to maintain liquidity health and prevent trading friction. Higher fees reduce trading volume.

❓ When can I claim rewards?

Anytime after trading starts. Rewards accumulate automatically and you can claim once per transaction if desired.

❓ Are rewards taxable?

Consult your local tax authority. Crypto rewards are generally treated as income and taxable events. We're not tax advisors.

Security

❓ Is Novault audited?

Yes. Our smart contracts have been audited by leading security firms. Details available on Security page.

❓ Do you hold user funds?

No. Novault is non-custodial. You hold your private keys and control your funds at all times.

❓ What if there's a smart contract bug?

Our contracts are audited and battle-tested. But if a vulnerability is found, it's the token creator's responsibility, not Novault's. We recommend getting additional audits for high-value launches.

❓ Should I get my token custom audited?

For launches above 1M+ USD liquidity, we strongly recommend third-party audits from firms like OpenZeppelin or Trail of Bits.

Troubleshooting

❓ My transaction is pending. What do I do?

Wait 5-10 minutes. If still pending, check the transaction on Etherscan. Gas prices may be low. You can speed up with MetaMask's "Speed Up" option.

❓ I got "Insufficient Balance" error. Why?

You don't have enough ETH for gas fees. Ensure you have at least 0.1 ETH beyond your liquidity amount.

❓ Token appears in my wallet but no value?

Add the token to your wallet via "Import Token" → enter the token address. Chains only show tokens you've explicitly added.

❓ I lost my recovery phrase. Can you help?

No. Only you control your wallet. If you lose your seed phrase, your funds are lost. Keep backups in a safe place.

Advanced

❓ Can I use custom smart contracts?

Yes. Deploy your own ERC-20 contract and use Novault's liquidity tools with it. We support any ERC-20 compliant token.

❓ Do you support multi-signature wallets?

Yes. Connect any wallet that supports WalletConnect (Gnosis Safe, Argent, etc.).

❓ How do I integrate Novault into my app?
